TERIS Supports Bay Area CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocates) Through Special Fundraising Event and Raffle May 26

TERIS is proud to be hosting a special charity event for CASA at the Americano on May 26th. We’re hosting a special raffle where we’ll be giving away a pair of Giants tickets, an iPad, a spa day and bottles of wine – and more! Attendees will be able to network with fellow professionals while enjoying free drinks!

CASA helps care can advocate for abused and neglected children in the Bay Area. More than 1,200 of San Francisco’s children are victims of abuse and neglect and are living in foster care. San Francisco CASA recruits, screens, trains, and supervises volunteers who advocate for and mentor these children one- on-one, helping to find safe and permanent homes for them and addressing their educational, healthcare, and other urgent needs. In the Silicon Valley, approximately 1,800 children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned are now in the Santa Clara County foster care system. Child Advocates of Silicon Valley has a waiting list of more than 200 needy children for an advocate.
