Senior Business Development & eDiscovery Professional Joins TERIS

Richard Saldivar, President of TERIS Arizona and Texas recently announced that Michael  Shufeldt, JD joined the Phoenix office as Regional Director of Business Development & eDiscovery Services.

Previously, Michael held positions of increasing responsibility as Information Technology Director at Cosgrave Vergeer Kester LLP where he co-founded the firm’s eDiscovery practice group. He was the chief eDiscovery advisor, and his expertise in software includes Summation, Relativity, and Caselogistix. He is a strategic and tactical planner, consulted on the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), and he is an expert in Electronic Data Discovery Best Practices.

Michael graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the Texas Tech University School of Law and a Bachelor of Psychology from Texas Tech University. He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Legal Administrators/Oregon Chapter and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the Project Management Institute and the CIO Forum. In 2011 Michael was named “Unsung Hero” by the Daily Journal of Commerce, is a past Lion’s Club “Cub of the Year”, served as a two-term President of Texas Tech Forensics Union, and is a multiple time forensics tournament champion as well as a recipient of the National NADE Project of the Year. Michael serves the community as a volunteer Debate Judge at Lewis and Clark College and several local high schools.
