Former Secret Services Special Agent Jason Tanner Hired as TERIS' Lead Forensic Consultant

PALO ALTO, CA – May 25, 2011 – TERIS, one of the leading litigation support solution providers in the country, today announced Jason Tanner as their new Forensics Consultant for TERIS Bay Area. TERIS has rapidly built a reputation in offering eDiscovery, digital forensic consultation and litigation services to corporate and legal firms throughout California.

A former Special Agent for the U.S Secret Service, Tanner is an experienced Forensic expert. He has received his training from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and was named as one of the top ten forensic examiners by the U.S Secret Service. Tanner is well-versed in with practical knowledge and understanding of the latest digital forensic tools and techniques. With his knowledge and experience, he is able to conduct forensic acquisitions and analyses of various digital machines and devices. Tanner also worked as a Computer Forensic Investigator at the Alameda County Crime Lab as part of the Secret Service’s ECTF.

Tanner will also be responsible for preparation of detailed reports for client legal teams.

Tanner holds a bachelors degree in History awarded by the University of South Carolina. Hi is also a certified computer Examiner (CCE), EnCase Certified Forensic Examiner (EnCE) and the Comptia A+ Certified Technician .He is a member High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), the High Tech Crimes Consortium (HTCC).
