Document Management & Scanning Services

TERIS offers complete digital document imaging and coding to translate existing physical documentation into a fully enabled searchable database. The combination of sophisticated imaging systems and traditional page-by-page quality control on every project undertaken by TERIS has helped define new industry-wide standards for high quality.

In order to extend total data usability, scanned documents can be indexed into a searchable database. Retrieval and search functions may be defined by keyword, subject, concept or document type. Database file production can be customized to any preferred format in order to maintain compatibility with existing litigation support software, and virtually any form of media is able to be printed and duplicated. Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is available to create searchable records from imaged paper-based records.

After scanning and imaging, documents may be coded either automatically or manually. Manually coded documents may be further categorized and coded either objectively or subjectively. Electronic Bates stamping and existing Bates number capture functions help to maintain customary organizational systems. This familiarity simplifies record-keeping and augments, rather than replaces, existing methods.

TERIS also maintains an online repository for easy data retrieval and an automated bibliographic document coding process for accurate record-keeping. Scanning and imaging processes may be re-engineered as needed for greater efficiency, or to suit the particular needs of a specific client or project. For each project, TERIS offers full case portability with images and a full index, all included on a Blu-ray disc, DVD, CD-ROM, or HDD.
