TERIS Promotes Kevin Brooks to President, TERIS Washington/California

Leading eDiscovery support firm TERIS announced that it has promoted executive Kevin Brooks to the new role of President, TERIS Washington/California.

In this role, Brooks is responsible for overseeing the overall sales and operations for TERIS offices in Seattle, San Francisco, Silicon Valley and San Diego. In this new role he will also be working closely with COO Kip Hauser to improve efficiencies, further standardize procedures, operations and technologies across the offices.

“Kevin has been critical in TERIS’ explosive growth in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area since assuming responsibility for this region,” said Stefan Wikstrom, TERIS founder and CEO. “He has provided exceptional leadership and demonstrated uncanny vision with his ability to assemble talented professional teams that address the rapidly changing needs for our clients – changes that clients themselves often don’t always initially recognize. Thanks to Kevin’s leadership, TERIS Bay Area has grown tremendously and delivered even more value through new services to our clients.

Brooks joined TERIS (then ALC Legal Technologies) in 2002 as a sales executive and quickly established himself as the top sales generator within the company. He was promoted to sales manager, where he was named one of the top three sales managers in consecutive years. In 2006 he was tabbed to lead the Silicon Valley office as General Manager, and the facility generated the highest profits of any TERIS facility. After being named Managing Partner in 2007, he led the Silicon Valley office as the top revenue producing facility, a position it still maintains. In 2010 he proposed combining the Silicon Valley and San Francisco offices under a single Bay Area region and the move paid off with the two offices combining to bring in new record revenues and profits in the most recent fiscal year.

One of Brooks’ greatest areas of focus has been driving the two TERIS Bay Area offices to standardize its internal processes and procedures, so that all team members are working in a consistent and efficient manner.  This has led to stronger project management and increased client retention and growth the past two years.

“I welcome this new challenge and opportunity,” commented Brooks. “TERIS provided me with an incredible opportunity 10 years ago and I consider myself fortunate to be working with so many talented professionals who are committed to providing the best service possible to our client base. I’m excited to help our Washington and California offices combine and streamline their processes and operations – while recruiting and hiring the top talent available so that we can continue to stay ahead of the competition.”
