Oh what a night!

The temperature was an unseasonably scorching 90 degrees outside in Seattle on June 3rd when the doors opened for the First Annual TERIS/CASA Casino Night and Poker Tournament.

 More than 150 sweltering Seattle legal professionals unaccustomed to such heat swarmed the Cirrus Ballroom on the 35th floor of the Seattle Sheraton for the festivities – and by all accounts a great time was had by all.

The event served as a fundraiser for Washington State CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and more than $2,000 was raised (TERIS donated $10 for each attendee as well as $1 for each signature cocktail sold).

Among the prizes given out throughout the evening to lucky ticket holders:

• Weekend getaway (3 days/2 nights & $500 airline voucher)

• Helicopter tour of Seattle

• Fishing trip off Washington Coast

• Seattle Mariners & Sounds Tickets

• Flip Video Camera

• Lots of TERIS caps and t-shirts
